BACK
1) Perform a NOZZLE CHECK
- Insert plain paper into sheet feeder
- Select Applications > Epson Printer Utility 2 or 3
- Click Printer and click OK
- Click Nozzle Check
- Click Auto
2) In Lightroom, Enter the Print Module
- Do this by clicking on "Print" (on the top right of the Lightroom window)
- In the scroll-down menu on the right of your window, scroll to bottom, until you see “Print Job”
- Select the Following:
- Print Resolution: 360 dpi (change from 240)
- Uncheck "Print Sharpening" (for small prints)
- Check "16 bit"
- For "Profile" Select "Other" and then Pro38PGPP (for Glossy) or other appropriate profile.
- Rendering Intent: Relative Colorimetric for Glossy or Luster (or Perceptual for Matte)
3) CLICK PAGE SETUP (on bottom left of screen)
- Select printer (Epson 3800)
- Chose paper size (Letter Standard for 8.5x11) or other other size
- Chose Sheet Feeder if using Glossy or Luster
- Chose Manual Feeder (in back) for anything Matte (load 1 sheet only)
- Click OK
4) Adjust MARGINS to Your Liking
On the Scroll-down menu of the Print Module (again on the right side of your screen), go to the Layout section. Adjust margins by double-clicking the numbers and typing in the size (in inches) you want for your margins.
5) CLICK PRINT (on bottom right of screen):
- Select Printer Again (Epson 3800)
- Click Layout and select Printer Settings. Then chose the following:
- Media Type (i.e. Premiun Glossy)
- AcuPhoto
- Color Mode: OFF (No Color Mgmt.)!
- Check 16 bit again
- 1440 dpi
- No high speed
- No finest detail
- Save as a preset with your name if you want
- Click Print
